Here is a glance of the protocols we’ve adopted to secure safe visits during COVID-19!
Prior to beginning work, our staff is carefully screened to ensure they are healthy, have a normal temperature, and aren’t experiencing symptoms that could be caused by COVID-19. We also require patients to take a few moments to fill out our COVID-19 screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken upon stepping into our office. Staff and patients are also respectfully required to wear masks and wash their hands regularly to ensure the safest environment possible.
If possible, we kindly encourage coming alone to your appointment to reduce the number of people in our office. To check in for your appointment, simply give our team a call or text from your car and we’ll let you know when your room is ready to go!
At Candelas Dentistry, we have always implemented CDC, OSHA, and ADA standards for the cleanest operatories and office space possible. In addition to these expert requirements, we sanitize and disinfect common, high-touch surfaces at least every hour by using EPA-registered disinfectant designed for healthcare settings.
Highly effective at combating coronavirus particles, we require patients to rinse their mouths with a hydrogen peroxide solution prior to treatment.
As dental professionals, we have always maintained utmost health and safety measures by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, surgical masks, and eye-protection when caring for patients. Now, we’re further elevating the protection of our staff and patients with additional protective coverings such as face shields, level 3 surgical masks, and reusable medical gowns that are professionally laundered by a medical linen facility.
